Did you know that there is a condition called Porphyrophobia which is the fear of the color purple? Yes, believe it or not, some people have a fear of this royal hue.
But not all colors received equal recognition in the phobia world. I only know of two other specific color fears…
Melanophobia – Fear of the color black
Leukophobia – Fear of the color white.
Of course there is the all encompassing chromophobia – Fear of colors.
Thank goodness the Doctor is IN! Have a seat and let us talk. There is no need to fear the color purple or any other hue.

I had a high school history teacher that was afraid of purple. Naturally we all wore purple as often as we could so she wouldn’t call on us in class. On the last day of school we gave her a plushie purple cow, she couldn’t touch it. I feel bad now.
🙂
Phobias related to colors seem too strange to be possible but they are real, think of the possible triggers people would come across daily. There are phobias for several colors that have been discovered so far.
I have this phobia and it is a secondary phobia in response to my primary phobia. It’s very strange but it’s something that will never change. It’s lesser than my primary so it’s more of a passionate hate than a fear but that’s exactly what a secondary phobia is.
so this is fear of me cause i am purple
Yes, purple guy, I think you are right. On the upside there are far more purple lovers porphyrophobics in the world.
I think it is weird that people fear me and my lifestyle I am a Porphyrophile
