Each of these color experts and their organizations have spent lots of time, money and energy to put together in-depth color trends information and I am excited to be able to bring it to you.
Join me for three 1-hour webinars where I will put each of these color gurus on the hot seat and get them to reveal the inside scoop on what colors you will be seeing in 2016.
You can be sure that I’m not going to let them get away with just giving us a canned presentation either. I want to know exactly what they are thinking and I know that you do, too.
Here’s why I’m doing this.
One because I love this stuff and I enjoy picking the brains of my talented color industry colleagues.
Second because I know how important it is for the success of you and your business to stay up-to-date and make smart color choices that will resonate with your customers.
To do that well you need to have access to more than one point of view or insights only from a single industry.
Unlike years ago, when there was a more predictable route for color trends to move from fashion to home, or from Europe to the U.S., today colors are jumping across industries and crossing borders faster than ever before.
Most professionals focus on a single industry or market, but with trends moving at lightening speed and new developments in technology making just about anything possible, it is crucial to the success of your business that you keep abreast of what is going on not only in your own market but in other industries as well.
This is the reason that corporate executives who depend on trend information to make business decisions spend a great deal of time and money to gain access to well-researched trend information. They may create a trend team within the company, hire trend consultants or purchase reports from one of the many forecasting companies.
All of the presentations are available and easy for you to view. Watch all of the 2016 Color and Design Trends videos and download the handouts immediately plus you will have ongoing access to rewatch at anytime during 2016.
But what if you don’t work with a company that is in a position to invest big bucks on trends research? Or what if you are an independent professional who can benefits from knowing what is going on with color trends but can’t justify an investment of hundreds of dollars?
You might depend on the abundance of trends information being pushed out there online or in the media. As someone who has worked in this industry for a long time I would advise you to proceed down that path with caution.
Trends can be confusing. When you begin looking around you’ll find one source or another touting just about every color under the rainbow as important or on-trend. Any prediction may not necessarily be incorrect, although there is a great deal of misinformation out there, but it may only apply to a specific products, demographic or market.
When it comes to trends the place rubber meets the road so to speak where an understanding of the drivers and influences behind the trends comes together with your unique experience and knowledge of your business and customers.
Nothing in the trend forecasting equation will ever replace a knowledgeable professional that has learned to combine solid trend information with their institutional knowledge and intuition.
In this series of webinars you will have access to the insights and opinions of industry experts, each with a slightly different trends focus. These different perspectives will be invaluable to you when it comes to understanding the direction of trends in 2016 and for years to come
Then as the expert in your business you can use this information to guide you in determining which colors and design elements are important for you and your customers.
That is the real value of knowing what colors are on trend.
