Vivienne Tam’s techo style

HP already has that catchy campaign featuring creative designers that I love- the Gwen Stefani one catches my attention every time!  I’m always ready to jump on my computer and make some collage masterpiece or write a brilliant play or design some cool wedding dress- or something artsy, just like Gwen and Vera Wang do with theirs.

Well now HP has stepped it up another notch-  not only are they making me want to use their products,  I want to carry this particular one around with me as well.

Designer Vivienne Tam has teamed up with the company to design this limited edition mini laptop- or as they are calling it -a digital clutch. Ms. Tam, whose new book “Chinese Chic” embraces her heritage- has chosen the red, purple and pink peonies print for it’s symbolic meaning of prosperity, good fortune and happiness in the Chinese culture.

On the HP site she explains that she chose peonies ‘because they are the most beautiful flowers and have many layers of unfolding blossoms — much like the layers of a busy woman’s life. As the digital clutch helps you juggle the demands of home and office, it can also remind you of what’s beautiful and feminine in your life.’- How right-LOVE IT!

She even featured them on her Spring runway as shown above- funny they really do look like a clutch bag.

Suddenly my laptop is looking very naked.
