Summer just wouldn’t be summer without watermelon. Juicy and satisfying the Grande Dame of melons is a true Summertime treat.
Another tantalizing treat is watermelon tourmaline. I ADORE this stone. It REALLY does resemble watermelon. In shades of green and pink, it looks so good you could eat it

These smooth hunks of tourmaline were too gorgeous to pass up on recent shopping trip. In just the pink shade (the fruit, not the rind) of this unique tourmaline, it reminded me of my favorite candy – watermelon Jolly Rancher. They look so good you can almost taste them!

I dangled the stones from branches cast in gold and it has become one of my favorite accessories for the Season.

Put on a strand of watermelon tourmaline for the next summer party, it is cool and refreshing no matter how you slice it

I love this Kim! How cool that the stone really does look just like a slice of watermelon- love the necklace that you designed, as well.
The color of the stone set against the gold is simply and sweetly beautiful!
Fabulous stones and fabulous necklace, xv.

Kimberlin, I always learn something new about colorful gems in your post. I love the watermelon tourmaline.
I don’t know what I want more…a cold slice of watermelon, your necklace, or that cute Jessie. Love that you’re introducing that beautiful stone to us.
Hard to tell which is sweeter – your niece or the watermelon? She is absolutely adorable.
I learn so much on this blog – I have never seen that stone before, it is beautiful. Thanks for your post.
