Don’t you just thank the techno-gods everyday for the internet!!! I do, especially when creative people are involved-  case in point the Dutch design duo, Viktor & Rolf. I first discovered their cool interactive website a few months back when I posted about a retrospective gallery show of their fashions that took place in London this past year.

Well I can’t help but send you back there again today.  This time to check out their Spring 2009 collection via a virtual runway show featuring a cloned Shalom Harlow ( whom by the way I saw in the bathroom of the Regency Hotel in NYC a few years back, oddly enough sitting upon a mirrored counter talking to someone about her name- apparently her parents were hippies) strutting the runway in all 21 looks. Is runway fashion- “art”? The curators at London’s Barbican Art Gallery seem to think so.

Their latest exhibit “The House of Viktor & Rolf”, a retrospective dedicated to the past 15 years of creative endeavors by the masterful Dutch duo- Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, opens on June 18th.
