I always look forward to seeing the colors that Pottery Barn chooses to feature each holiday season ( okay, maybe I need to get more of an exciting life ) but there is something to be said about their palette.  They are a company very aware of the power of color, and I believe they do experiment and mix it up more than other retail giants.

This Thanksgiving is no exception, as they feature a palette of simple white and natural textures mixed together with pops of blue, brown, gold, green and brown.  Love it! Not only because it’s a fresh spin on more traditional autumn themes… I think the accessories and tablescapes could look fresh throughout the entire winter season!

I love talking about color trends each season for fashion and beauty, and the process becomes especially exciting when I spot the same trends appearing simultaneously in the world of home decor.

The melding of these two different worlds, color, style and trend wise, is an important reminder of how the trends from different industries can effect each other. (more…)
