Normally I don’t like to play favorites with magazines, like a protective mother I wish to believe that I love all of my shiny new issues equally. But in honor of Earth Day I have to give a special “pat on the head” to Elle magazine.

Their May issue is so chocked full of great “green” advice for fashion and beauty product junkies that I just feel the need to share! After all- what kind of mother would I be if I didn’t affirm such good behavior!

Using mass transit and riding my bike everywhere (even when I’m going out at night to meet my friends for dinner!) is one of my favorite ways to protect the planet!

This stylish Schwinn featured in Elle would make any “green lover” look sensational on the go ! ( do you think Santa can take a hint?)
