It’s official- wearing white shoes is a faux pas, put them away till next spring. However, for God’s sake, please keep wearing the colorful summer clothes!
Summer is not over yet. You can count on that Indian summer too. Think twice before you put those polished toes in a pair of boots; it is still hot and those toes will be confined for the next 7 months! Keep those strappy sandals, colorful frocks and bright slacks on.
Maybe put a last bloom of summer in your hair? No need to rush the seasons. Soon enough tights and sweaters will be a necessity, till then make a few more summer color splashes!

There is nothing more entertaining than ‘people watching’ on a beautiful day in NYC and you did a great job connecting with all that caught your eye.
I’m with you- I love seeing people embrace color while walking the streets in a city most associated with wearing ‘urban camouflage’ black and gray.
I hope you will be around the tents of Bryant Park during fashion week- it will be fun to see what the favorite colors to wear to the shows will be!
