I have always been intrigued by glass blowing, for some reason I can’t wrap my mind around how they are able to do patterns like the stripes and dots. But even though I can’t understand it I can appreciate it and these pieces are beautiful.

The Q&A was fun, thank you for sharing your extremely talented friend . . . I can’t wait to meet his wife (love fabrics). And the area where they live looks amazing.

What incredible glass pieces. This is one craft that fascinates me and frightens me at the same time. Molten glass is a bit terrifying to me but I just love watching someone else work with it.

Joe’s designs are wonderful and he makes fun use of color.

I love the “spilled red wine” glasses! I can’t wait to order a set for myself. Thanks for sharing this talented artist with us. I would love to see some of Joe’s other sculpture work with wood and metals involved.

Joe is an awesome person and his work is outstanding. Joe has great patience esp. around children as he has been great in teaching nephew Trevin what he does. My favorite is the Buttah collection. Loved the article and the pictures of the house and lake are beautiful as is his wife.

I adore this man’s glasswork. The Orange dot collection as well as the Peacock collection. I received a glass ball from this artist in swirls of black and white, it was stunning and has been a center piece of my room as well a focal point of my christmas tree. Graceful in its beauty, his work is truly inspiring. He definitely has a great palette for colour. I hope to see a collaboration between his wife’s’ textiles and his work. Look forward to seeing more of Joe’s work. Great article and beautiful photographs.
