It's funny, right before I came to the site, I was talking to my sister about two exhibitions that looked really interesting that I thought she might enjoy. The first is the "Pattern and Decoration: An Ideal Vision of American Art, 1975-1985" show at the Hudson River Museum in Yonkers and the second is "A Legacy in Quilts: Cyril Irwin Nelson's Final Gifts to the American Folk Art Museum" at their Lincoln Square branch. I will be in the NYC area in March so I'm going to make it a point to go the "Reinventing Color" exhibition, maybe I'll see you all there. Thank you for sharing your day at the museum.

Of course there's the Smithsonian and Corcoran but there are also many smaller museums, historic homes and wonderful galleries. What a wonderful way to spend the day. Thanks for sharing your colorful afternoon with us and I'll be sure to join you for the "Reinventing Color" show.
