I really don’t mind a flaw or too in a gem because it shows that it is a real gem rather than a lab constructed one. I suppose it depends on how the stone is incorporated into the design.

And what a difference the redesigning made to the Jackie Onassis ring. It hardly looks like the same stone. I actually prefer the 1953 setting.
