Everyone’s favorite yellow-hued family, The Simpsons celebrate their 20th year Anniversary on television this week. In celebration of this media milestone, Fox will switch out its signature red lettering and logos for more- “Homer-ish” golden graphics starting today.

‘Wo-hoo!”
The Simpsons and their signature color will be showing up all over Fox this week. ‘Simpson-ized’ sayings worthy of Bart and Homer are set to be featured across prime-time programing banners, Fox newscasters will sport yellow ties and even the channel’s Twitter and Facebook pages will get a sunny makeover.

The week will end with the anniversary episode, followed by a 90 minute special ‘The Simpsons in 3D On Ice’ directed by Morgan Spurlock (of the documentary “Super Size Me”-fame).
AOL has compiled a list of their favorite opening sequences of the iconic cartoon. Check out this season’s new opener, featuring a not-so-hospitable Simpsons’ family couch. Carry on Homer and crew- I’ll be cracking open a Duff beer in your honor!

I think this is fabulous. Crack a Duff open for me and I'll join you celebrating 20 hilarious years of the Simpsons.
