At first glance last night ( I missed the red carpet ) all I was thinking was wow there is a lot of black in the audience- but after a quick review this morning I was pleased at how much color actually was worn. Retro styling- both hair and makeup ruled ( deep lips and silvery eyes were stand outs ) as did metallic tones and embellishments, berry and jewel tone brights and of course the ever classics black and white.

Thanks for having these pictures grouped by color ! As a strawberry blond, it was helpful to see what colors might compliment me. I just bought 2 very different shades of blue, based on what Cynthia Nixon and the redhead from Madmen. I’ll hopefully look stunning at my high school reunion and friend’s wedding in these flattering shades.
