Spending many of my days in Chicago over the years...I too dream and drool over the flavors of the Windy City. And although I am not a sweets kinda gal, (however any fresh fruit is tantalizing to my taste buds) I was definitely tempted by your delightful descriptions. Of course, anytime you put something fruity and delicious in pretty packaging, you're sure to grab my attention. Congrats on this sensational post!

I know Chicago is 'foodies' paradise...so I would only expect the creme de la creme when it comes to their ice creams (no pun intended). And though I am a serious sucker for great packaging, in this case it's the actual flavors that got me salivating for a try. Chocolate and Basil- Mango and Chili..I'm googling to see who in NY makes such treats! Great Post Eli! Can''t wait to read more of your colorful adventures in Chicago.

Living in Chicago myself, I just want to mention, nicecream beside these colorful and very nice packaging has something even better inside of those ice cream boxes, you are right about that. There is no excuse but to try them all ;-) Great post Eli.
