color was the perfect foil for the greens and jewel tones through out my house… slowly but surely tiny pops of their mysterious shapes and shades made it into my home.

I am a HUGE fan of the sea and coral.
Tracey Greene, a talented fabric designer working from one of the oldest remaining mills in the US, created an amazing coral motif. She made me gorgeous large pillows using the fabric and it has seriuosly made my apartment come alive!
As a jewelry designer I have been opposed to the use of real coral for many years. It is an endangered living organism that belongs in the ocean and not draped around our necks.
I have created a beautiful collection reminiscent of the shapes and colors of coral. I am debuting the collection with Sea Web and Tiffany's 'Too Precious To Wear' campaign.
We can still show our love for coral from all the wonderful choices that Julie showed us so well.

Great post. I love coral - the color and the motif. Thanks for the heads up on the sunscreen I had no idea it was killing the reefs.

Red by any other name, coral being one of them is a must in ever house I live in. The first thing I do is find the wall that is going to be an off shade of red and then it all falls together.
