Color Me In Beautiful

Leave it to the Crayola company to find a way to bring out the kid in us all.  Lights, Camera, Color! a new feature on their Play Zone at  Crayola.com gives you the ability to turn your favorite photos into coloring pages. And while I’m aware that this could be an awesome foul weather project for the little ones- I can’t but help think about all of the ways I could have fun using it…..cards, wrapping paper, WALLPAPER!!!

To get started all you need is a special code ( found on the inside of specially marked crayons- so make sure you pick up the right pack), create a login name and password and then get started.  I loved playing around with this- It will either crack you up or horrify you to no end seeing yourself as a cartoon-like character.  Of course your kids will go absolutely ga-ga for it ( you can even place their images in various cartoon settings- which is brilliant!)

Best part for us older kids- the brand new box of crayons…aaahhh, nothing brings back childhood faster than the sight and smell of them!

A little playing around and my favorite summer trip, my favorite friend, even my favorite furry companion- are all brought to ‘ready-for coloring’ life before my very eyes….
