I’ve always wanted an Eames chair like that and especially like it in blue but I’d be happy with any of these. If you see a midnight BLUE SUV with a BLUE CHAIR in tow…that will be me…or at least I’d like it to be.

I live close to the location of the Arnhaus Giles chair….can I get there 1st ? I’d fight an old lady over that chair and carry it on my back to 10th ave. I truly love this chair….praying . Thank you blue chair companies and House Beautiful !!!!

  3. What an innovative idea! I love how blue is coming in hot and heavy in all design trends – even chairs! Can you please place some chairs in Charlotte so I can hunt too?

Love the blue clues idea! How Fun! Village Azurro chair looks like Time Square, a perfect place for a sit down as there is so much to see. Love the Central Park( if that is where it is) Avalon’s Child’s chair. You need a chair to sit after walking all day in New York and what a better place than in a blue chair in a garden! It’s a great fun idea. Love it!

The Eames chair I could manage carrying home!! What a great concept – like Picasso – every one should have their ‘Blue’ period. Great article, love the ‘Blues Clues’ reference hee hee.

A 21st century game of “musical” chairs in the “blues” genre! Fabulous idea!!

  9. I love the blue and white combination and how crisp and refreshing it looks. These blue chairs against the white snow has that same feeling, and I’m sure after a long day in the city they would be a relaxing place to stop and take it all in. I love the Arhaus “Giles” chair too, and ocean blue, hello one of my favorites. Seriously, Julie, if you get that chair, I am going to be so jealous. What a great idea House Beautiful, and what a great post Julie!

Here’s link to its photo from House Beautiful…location is pretty obvious–good luck! http://www.flickr.com/photos/housebeautiful/4385122137/in/set-72157623338006679/

I love the Avalon Child chair from Target. It would fit perfectly in my 4 year old princess’s bedroom. And the one from Arhaus Furniture is gorgeous – very Van Gogh like! I want to sit in this Ocean Blue chair and flip through the pages of the Chester Dale Art Collection book that I just got from the National Art Gallery in Washington DC, while sipping Blue Hawaiian. Thank you, House Beautiful – what a brilliant idea!

I like how quirky the chairs look outside with the snow in the background. Oddly appealing, though prob chilly to sit in…
