Because I think (especially the lighter lilac version) would make an awesome, unexpected stone for an engagement ring. The color would be super beautiful set against diamonds, and since modern day theory often times calls purple a neutral hue- it would "go" with everything! (I was a waitress at the time). It never fails to get a compliment - wearing it makes me feel like a princess. A single girl has to have a fabulous ring (so she doesn't mourn the lack of a left handed diamond ring). Great article !
