I was so saddened to hear the news of the untimely passing of designer Alexander McQueen. His runways shows have been some of the most creative and inspiring the fashion world has seen over the past decade. He blurred the line between fantasy and fashion like no one else. He was inspiring, unique and unbelievably talented. Our prayers are with his family today.

These have to be the most talked about shoes of the last year, often jokingly described as ” lobster claws”.
McQueen had become the master of spinning together the world of nature with dramatic fashion. His forward designs, colors and fabrics were leaps ahead of his time, his runway styling was that of a fashion editor’s dream.

I was so saddened to read of A M's sudden death, such a great loss to the fashion world. For all his outrageous designs he really understood how to cut for the female body. His brilliance will be missed. xv
