The beauty of a sunrise is created without black, so why not the beauty on your walls? Paint with a broader range of lightWhat I like most about Ellen Kennon's beautiful palettes of paint is that her colors are blended from the seven colors of natural sunlight. Without light-absorbing black or gray, her paints reflect a broader range of light. By using several pigments, rather than the usual two or three, Ellen creates colors that seem to change in different light and space. I just repainted my office using H2 Ahh!, my signature color from Ellen's new Designer's Palette. After years of contemplating a similar color in my bedroom, I am amazed at the life this color brings to my office, even in low light. Friendly customer serviceAs if offering gorgeous paints weren't enough, Ellen also goes above and beyond in customer service. It's easy to believe her when she says her calling is to help people design spaces they feel comfortable in. I was especially impressed by Ellen's offer of a free phone consultation with the purchase of a Full Spectrum sample set. You can send photos, floor plans, and anything else you think might help Ellen visualize the space, and then Ellen will work with you to identify just the right colors. Samples are available for every color on each palette. You can order sample pots (2 oz. each), which are about enough for two coats on a 2' x 2' sample board, or you might want to see the 3" x 4" or 8" x 11" hand-painted sample sheets. In addition, Ellen's website offers a wide variety of resources for color selection. The virtual room painter lets you "repaint" the walls in images of several different room styles to get a better idea of how your room might look. She also has a page full of photos and testimonials about how actual people have used her paints. And she communicates regularly with what she calls her extended family through her email newsletter Living Well and on Ellen's Blog. Ellen's Color Palettes
