Today’s question is about a 1950’s style kitchen. Can’t you just picture what it looks like? I gave her a few ideas I think might work but maybe you have some ideas for a good color scheme.

Getting more than one point of view is always helpful

Karen has a color consulting business called Newton Lights.  The company namesake is Sir Isaac Newton who demonstrated that white light is the combination of all of the colors of the rainbow.

Finding beige wall paint to match the carpet shouldn’t be so darn difficult.  Here’s a tip that can make it a bit easier because picking the color should be the fun part of the painting process.

This is a picture of me as a new mother enjoying my son, fall colors, and soft sunshine outside of Chattanooga, TN where we lived at the time he was born.  I think TJ is about a week or so old and he looks so small you’d never know he weighed in at just under 10 pounds when he was born.

ICI Paints names “Ginger Ale” the color for 2008. Here’s what they had to say about this hue:
