So often I am asked by people not only about what I do but how I gained the skills to become a color professional.
With a fine arts degree and years of product development, management and marketing behind me I had a great foundation but when I decided to pursue solely work with color I know I needed to learn the ins and outs from a color professional who was already successful in the field.
I didn’t want to learn from just anyone. I went straight to the leading expert in the field, Leatrice Eiseman and if you are interested in pursuing color consulting or adding skills that can enhance a related field I recommend you do the same.

I have recently bought a house with a light blue carpet running through out. I need some advice on how I should go about choosing an appropriate colour for the walls and decor. I have already purchased medium brown coloured furniture. Can you give me some inspiration. I have thought of painting the house an ivory colour so it would compliment the colour of the carpet and furniture. Need your advice for interior decor! Hope I am not doomed by the blue!

Hi Kate.
Remember me. Well, let me jog your memory. I had bought a house last year which had light blue carpets wall to wall. I have done some changes and was wondering if I could send you some pictures. Like a before and after. Have not furnished it much, taking things nice and slow. Thanks to you and your wonderful team, I was much inspired by your wonderful advice.
Warm Regards,
Melanie
