Joanne Richard took a look at lipstick in an article that appeared in six of the Sun newspapers in Canada today and she included my “Personality Shades”.
I also included another sidebar that I thought you would enjoy. It looks at personality based on how a woman wears down the point as she applies the color.
From the article:
While trends in lip colour and shape change, lipstick remains the most purchased and used cosmetic product out there.
PERSONALITY SHADES
Bright Red: Open, dynamic, sexy and opinionated — they know what they want.

Light Pink: Innocent, feminine and charming with a sweet demeanor.

READING LIPSTICK
The way a woman wears down her lipstick reveals her personality. Get to the point, here’s the slant on curves:
ROUND: Composed, friendly and logical, a detail oriented leader is considerate and social.
POINT: Attention-seeker with a big ego, craves life, elegance and luxury items.
CONCAVE: Inquisitive and attracts friends easily, also restless, adventurous and enterprising.
FLAT: Loves challenges and is determined, ambitious and reliable. Straight-shooter who dislikes superficiality.
SLANT: (keeps to original shape): Rule follower, consistent and dislikes attention. Sincere, adores family and friends.
DULL POINT: Lovable, family-oriented woman, is strong-minded, passionate, stubborn and a doer.
SHARP-ANGLED TIP: Mover and shaker who loves romance and glamour. Opinionated and hates schedules.
