We have this exact color granite countertop in our bathroom but it has specks of a dark cherry red color that you can pick up if you look hard (ha ha). This top is on cherry wood cabinet. Our bathroom is the downstairs half bath and is used frequently but is VERY small. We have a very light beige tile and I want to incorporate color into the walls as our entire house is taupe and i am sick of it! I wanted to pick the cherry specks of the granite up with a dark red burgandy or something but no one agrees. I want color in our house even if it has to in the small space of the bathroom.
