My Valentine’s Day Fantasy in Red and Pink

A holiday for romance and roses.  Heartfelt sentiments and vows of everlasting love. Flirty hot pink and sensuous deep red.

In my Valentine’s Day fantasy I’m…

Beautiful redhead wearing a red and pink dress

…wearing a dress that is so perfect in pink that it could have come straight out of Barbie’s closet…

red pink rhinestone pin

…embellished with a vintage pin of pink and red colored rhinestones.

red and pink floral arrangement

I’ve receive a bouquet of pink peonies that I enjoy while…

red and pink damask pillow

…propping myself against a sexy red and pink damask pillow…

red and pink sitting room

…on my pink striped chaise.

That’s the fabulous fantasy I’m enjoying on this Pink Saturday while outside a blizzard of ‘historic proportions’ blankets DC in almost two feet of snow.

What are you dreaming about today?

I have red and pink on the brain too! Trying to choose a “neutral” pink colour for my daughter’s room – will post about that soon. Thanks for the post and enjoy all the snow!

    Hi Vanessa,

I wrote a post about pink in a girl’s bedroom that suggested some very soft neutral pinks that might be a place for you to start looking.

I love that dress too Regina even though in reality it would probably look way too young for me to be wearing. But hey in my fantasy it looks great ;-)

Thanks for stopping by my blog Kate and for the link to your post on pink. I love Farrow and Ball’s Pink Ground but I want something even more neutral and I think I have found the perfect colour. Stay tuned!
