How do we know color is the reason for purchase 60 % of the time? Is there a study somewhere, like the board of realtors or something?

I think you are absolutely right that when someone remembers a room color is what they instantly recall and use as a descriptor. Great point!

thanks for the mention that it is COLOR that sells a home….It is also my belief that it is the color that people will remember – that beautiful red dining room….the beautiful yellow bedroom(& yellow is one of my favorite colors, too!!)
