Eight Color Palettes Blend Classic Elegance with Modern Spice for Application in Product and Interior Design


Pantone released their View 2008 color forecast for the home furnishings and home interiors market at the International Home & Housewares Show.

“Whether designing interiors or creating products for the home, satisfying consumers’ or clients’ more demanding perceived needs and desires in both styling and color is a major challenge in today’s marketplace,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute® and author of  More Alive With Color".

“People are looking beyond a simple matching process to colors they can instantly connect with, suit their personal comfort level and excite the imagination.  At the same time, there is the practical need to connect to products or settings they already own.  As always, it is the introduction of new or renewed themes and colors or unique combinations that will create these essential connections.

PANTONE VIEW provides inspiration for interiors 2008 by combining trend information and visual inspiration for each color palette direction.  The forecast offers inspiration for interiors and confidence to use color in new and exciting ways.
