The Color Association of the United States (CAUS) has this to say about their Menswear Spring / Summer Color Trends Forecast:
This season, men are searching for balance in their contemporary lives and finding harmony through nature's colors.
The result is a comforting palette of ruggedly elegant colors that are intended to complement each other and reflect the diverse variegations in nature.
This is a forecast for the modern man who is appreciative of subtleties in his dress and surroundings.

Color trend:
Storm...
...shows a fresh mix of complex neutrals. Weathered, tinted browns and grays are enlivened by soft lavender, jade, and teal. The subdued yet stylish combinations within this story are reminiscent of Japanese fabrics and suggests careful attention to textures and details.
Color trend:
Riverbend...
...is livelier and shows warm ivory, wood, and sand shades moving forward. It also features a new watermelon pink that is stylish and masculine at the same time. Yellow-greens, from leafy hues to deeper olives, are on the rise, too, which is evident here.
Color trend:
Equinox...
...is a compelling story for casual or athletic wear. Yellow is a key accent, as is a deep, rich red. A true blue, like Skyline, feels new, especially when matched with lush brown tones. Again, earthy greens are in play here, signaling that the environment will be increasingly on our minds.
While practicality always remains a consideration in men's dressing, the influence of styling from the global fashion stage is ever stronger on American men, and a many of them, especially younger men, are leading an entire generation to more colorful and more complex dressing. By Spring/Summer 2008, even in conservative bastions like law, finance, and accounting, men will learn how to use color to express a sense of individual style.
