"Virginia Young and Janie Lowe's passion for color is rooted in their formal training and education in fine art."  They have been working together since 1996 mixing custom colors for designers and homeowners and in 2005 they created YOLO. "YOLO Colorhouse® is created by scientists and artists with nature in mind."

YOLO Colorhouse offers colors inspired by nature The Earth's Color Collection, with palettes like air, grain, leaf, water, stone, clay and petal. The paints have zero volatile organic compounds and are durable, washable. They reflect the purity of the earth's color palette. YOLO Colorhouse paints are Green Seal® certified, the Green Seal® certification automatically qualifies YOLO Colorhouse® for LEED certified projects.

The company also offers little YOLO .  This group of paints offers the same zero VOC characteristic as the Colorhouse group with comptemporary punchy colors.  The little YOLO Sprout collection comes in a satin finish that is washable. These gender-neutral colors are great for any child's room.

To try out the paint color before a decision is made, 23" x 27" poster sized samples are available for purchase.  The poster size samples are available for all 40 colors.

8.5" x 11" family cards are available for purchase as well.



Inspiration

Design Kits with 8" x 11" full color cards are available for purchase. Each card has tips for where to use the color and what other YOLO colors will complement it. These kits are great to inspire both designers and homeowners.
